How to get musty basement smell out of massage table?
I had a massage table stored in my Aunt’s musty, moldy basement for a few months, and now it smells just like it.
I’ve had it out of there for a few weeks, but the smell is lingering in the foam that’s underneath vinyl.
I don’t think I can really wash the foam, as the vinyl won’t let any water through; it doesn’t seem to be letting much air through, for that matter.
The table was stored inside a canvas-type carrying case that had some mold on the bottom of it; I hosed that down and let it air dry, but it still smells. What would be the best way to kill the mold without using toxic chemicals?
I don’t want to douse anything in perfumes – just get back to a nice, no-smell table.

sprinkle baking soda on it, wait a few hours, and then vacuum off the soda. that’s what people do with getting smells out of carpets.
